The BioTelemetry Receiver identifies who is driving the vehicle. This Biometric information is sent to a vehicle's Telemetry and/or Data Acquisition System. This is important because every person's body reacts differently, so it is necessary to keep the Biometric data associated with that individual.
The BioTelemetry device will identify who is driving the vehicle. It will also detect driver changes -- very useful for endurance racing, driver training and test days.
In endurance racing, the driver ID can be used to control a light or sign board to identify the current driver. When the new driver sits in the car and the other driver leaves – the car knows who the new driver is.
